A prestigious organisation is looking for a Senior PeopleSoft Financials Specialist for a fully remote role. This is a long-term assignment starting January 2024, with potential for extension based on performance and budget availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise in PeopleSoft Financials with a primary focus on General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Cash Management, and Reconciliations.
- Develop and execute processes for extracting closing balances and transaction data from SWIFT bank statements, integrating them into PeopleSoft Financials, and generating files for interfacing with a Treasury Management System (TMS).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and document business logic for data extraction and upload from bank statements.
- Develop a custom page for statement uploads, enabling verification and reconciliation by business users.
- Coordinate daily process scheduling with ICT, business users, TMS vendor, and hosting partners.
- Implement robust notification mechanisms and failover procedures to ensure process reliability.
- Conduct comprehensive unit testing, including data validation, to ensure system reliability and support business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Develop and implement fixes for issues identified during UAT, ensuring smooth operation.
- Create detailed technical and functional documentation covering the entire workflow.
Technical Requirements:
- At least 10 years experience working with modules in PeopleSoft Financials.
- Highly skilled in People Tools 8.5x, including PeopleCode, application packages, and workflow.
- Strong experience with approval workflow, including the creation of new, complex workflows.
- Proven experience in designing integration broker messages, component interfaces, and integration solutions, preferably with Cloud SaaS.
- Some knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM 9.X.
