Summary: The Agile Coach for the WPP Open Programme will be instrumental in embedding Agile principles across the organization, working closely with leadership and teams to foster a culture of agility and continuous improvement. This role demands expertise in Agile frameworks and strong facilitation skills to inspire teams towards self-organization and operational excellence. The position involves driving Agile adoption, mentoring teams, and advocating for cultural shifts within WPP. The Agile Coach will also focus on metrics and feedback to optimize team performance and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Agile adoption across teams, departments, and projects within the WPP Open Programme.
- Act as a mentor and coach to teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leadership to build Agile capabilities.
- Support the scaling of Agile practices, tailoring frameworks to fit the programme's unique needs.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, workshops, and retrospectives to drive collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with Agile values and principles.
- Educate and engage leadership and stakeholders on Agile principles.
- Help resolve impediments that block team progress.
- Advocate a culture of feedback and learning, driving continuous improvement in team processes.
- Develop and track Agile metrics to measure team performance and program progress.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate teams on Agile frameworks.
- Support teams through organisational changes, ensuring smooth transitions.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; certifications in Agile frameworks preferred.
- 5+ years as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or similar role.
- Deep knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, etc.).
- Exceptional facilitation skills to guide teams and lead workshops.
- Strong ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Skilled at identifying and addressing impediments creatively.
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
