The BusinessOur client is an award winning business who are part of a market leading group across Europe that offers excellent benefits and career progression.The RoleDutiesThe Senior Procurement Manager will join a Procurement team who focus on the sourcing, contracting and supply of bespoke high value products to a global customer base. In order to achieve this effective risk management is critical, therefore the successful candidate will have a key focus on risk management ensuring it is central to how we transact business with the supply chain. Key duties include:Implement and maintain a robust procurement risk management framework and methodology, in line with company processesIdentify, assess, and prioritise potential risks throughout the procurement lifecycle at an enterprise, category or supplier levelAnalyse macro environment using third party risk platforms and media to identify emerging risks which have the potential to impact the supply chainBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including project procurement managers, strategic supplier relationship managers, supply chain management team and senior leadershipProduce internal briefing and communication material on macro environment risks and how our procurement team could mitigate against themSupport the development of risk mitigation strategies and oversee implementation of mitigation action by the project procurement manager communityConduct regular risk audits, drive governance reviews internally and lead supplier mass engagements activitiesSupport the supplier on-boarding and risk assessment processManage and maintain the procurement risk registerWhat They're Looking ForThe successful candidate will have a demonstrable background in strategic and commercial Procurement environments with experience in Risk Management implementation and delivery. You will have strong analytical and problem solving skills coupled with excellent communication.
