Summary: The Privileged Access Management SME role focuses on providing technical expertise in CyberArk for a SOX Remediation program within a top global company. The position requires leadership skills and hands-on experience in Privileged Access Management processes and tooling. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to enhance PAM processes and ensure compliance with SOX controls. This is an 8-month contract role that requires working through an umbrella company or PAYE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on the execution of Privileged Access Management controls and any remediation activities associated with PAM SOX controls
  • Identify and lead enhancements within PAM process and procedures to reduce compliance risk
  • Provides Subject Matter Expert (SME) support in developing / refining PAM processes and procedures for SOX in-scope systems
  • Partner and collaborate with executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders across the enterprise on the design and execution of PAM processes associated with SOx controls
  • Support the development of training materials for Privileged Access Management and assist with training activities and communication
  • Work with developers, system/network administrators, and other colleagues to ensure secure design, development, and implementation of processes associated with PAM SOx controls
  • Provides support as required for compliance audits and assessments both internal and external
  • Collaborate and guide PAM Control Operations team on the execution of PAM SOX controls
  • Work closely with control owner and operations team to ensure remediation and impact assessment activities are completed timely and appropriately

Key Skills:

  • Significant experience in CyberArk Privileged Access Management solution and Privileged Access Management global processes, including application and infrastructure layers
  • Experience with Server Operating Systems (Windows, Linux) and Database technologies (SQL, Oracle, SAP HANA), specifically Access Management and Privileged Access Management processes
  • Experience of working with internal and external auditors on control and SOX testing
  • Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines and prioritise appropriately
  • Experience with Infrastructure
  • Knowledge of IT general controls (ITGCs) for Sarbanes Oxley or general IT audit
  • Experience with PAM Controls and SOX testing
  • Experience in auditing Infrastructure controls, such as Windows OS, Linux OS, SQL, Oracle Database technologies
  • Azure Cloud and SailPoint Identity Security Cloud experience
  • CyberArk Sentry or higher certification is desirable
