Summary: The role of Freelance Social Media & Marketing Specialist involves managing and growing social media accounts for a UK-based video production company. The specialist will create engaging content, schedule posts, engage with followers, and run basic ad campaigns to enhance the company's online presence. This part-time position requires approximately 5-10 hours of work per week and is focused on the fashion, beauty, events, and influencer sectors. Key Responsibilities:
- Grow and manage Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube accounts
- Create engaging posts using existing video content
- Schedule 3-5 posts per week with captions and hashtags
- Engage with followers and generate new followers (reply to comments & DMs)
- Run basic paid ad campaigns (Instagram/Facebook) to reach potential clients
- Keep the website updated with new portfolio pieces
Key Skills:
- Experience managing social media for creatives (video/photo industries preferred)
- Strong content creation skills (Canva, CapCut, or similar)
- Basic knowledge of Instagram/TikTok algorithms & growth strategies
- Experience running Facebook/Instagram ads (preferred but not required)
- Proactive, creative, and able to work independently
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve would be a bonus but not essential
