Summary: The Product Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing the product development lifecycle by collaborating with Product leadership and empowering teams with actionable insights. This position requires a systems thinker who can streamline workflows and facilitate cross-functional collaboration while managing product launches and feedback mechanisms. The role is remote and offers a contract-to-hire opportunity, emphasizing a product-first mindset and effective communication skills. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in product operations within a technology environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Product leadership to uncover and drive improvements that streamline and strengthen the product development lifecycle.
- Develop, launch, and continuously refine operational initiatives that elevate how Product teams collaborate and deliver—such as roadmap alignment, release planning, goal-setting systems, and beta program coordination.
- Empower product teams with insights that drive smart prioritization—identifying trends, streamlining workflows, automating tasks, and ensuring the customer voice is reflected throughout the product lifecycle.
- Orchestrate smooth, cross-functional product launches by managing timelines, aligning stakeholders, running early access programs, and overseeing rollout execution across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Support.
- Build structured feedback loops and reporting mechanisms that help teams assess what’s working, where to iterate, and how to improve—delivering clarity through dashboards, analysis, and quarterly insights.
- Create scalable systems, tools, and workflows that improve the efficiency of product development and strengthen cross-functional alignment across teams.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience designing and scaling systems, tools, and workflows that improve product development and cross-functional collaboration.
- 5+ years in Product Operations, Product Management, Program Management, or a similar strategic role within a SaaS or technology environment.
- A systems thinker with a bias for action—able to spot inefficiencies, build frameworks, and implement solutions that scale.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience turning data into actionable insights and operational improvements.
- Excellent project management skills; able to drive initiatives forward across multiple teams and stakeholders with clarity and focus.
- Clear and persuasive communicator—comfortable presenting ideas, driving alignment, and navigating both strategic and tactical conversations.
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams, ideally with exposure to product development cycles, go-to-market launches, and customer feedback loops.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and excited by the challenge of building programs from the ground up.
