Summary: The role involves contracting with licensed therapists to provide mental health counseling services primarily to college students through the TimelyCare platform. Therapists will collaborate with clients to develop treatment plans and guide them to additional services as needed. The position is remote, allowing for flexible scheduling while maintaining professional boundaries. Candidates must hold active licenses in Alaska and potentially other states, with a focus on providing quality care to a motivated student population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide therapeutic counseling services and treatment planning to a primarily young adult population
• Document concurrently and submit HIPAA compliant documentation using TimelyCare's electronic health record
• Develop and submit treatment plans and progress notes following each session
• Communicate cross-functionally with other teams/departments to support care continuation as needed
• Adhere to established standards for documentation quality and code of ethics
• Work with the student/client to establish and develop treatment goals and document accordingly
• Utilize active listening skills and evidence-based modalities (SFBT, CBT, DBT, MI, ACT) to build rapport and progress student/client care
• Submit appropriate documentation in the EHR in a punctual manner
• Adapt to the changing needs of the population served
• Remain calm and maintain composure during potential high-stress scenarios
• Respond with empathy and professionalism, meeting clients where they are at
• Model respectful conduct with all students, peers, and support staff

Key Skills:

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Active State License(s) in Alaska, with additional licenses preferred
• Strong clinical documentation, assessment, and active listening skills
• Experience with crisis intervention/de-escalation and safety/treatment planning
• Background in providing services to young adults, adolescents, and at-risk populations
• Experience working in community mental health, crisis triage, or a college counseling environment
