Our client is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Lead to join a professional services firm on a 12-month fixed term contract. The role is based in the Westminster area of London and is hybrid with a requirement of at least three days per week in the office. The ideal candidate will be adaptable to the needs of the business.The main purpose of the role is to design, deliver, and oversee the organisation's global learning and development strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and capability needs.Responsibilities to include:Collaborate with global offices and the UK Board to set L&D priorities and address capability gaps.Manage the L&D budget within the broader People Budget.Develop and maintain the global L&D offering, including pathways, mandatory vs. optional training, and the annual schedule.Oversee training delivery, ensuring proper resources and facilitating sessions like masterclasses.Monitor, prioritise, and adapt the L&D plan as needed.Manage relationships with learning providers and platforms.Formalise key L&D processes, including the Development Calendar, induction plans, and annual role-specific training.Experience required:Minimum 5 years experience in a similar Learning & Development role. Demonstratable experience with managing internal and external stakeholders.Proven experience in managing multiple tasks and achieving simultaneous objectives.Engaging presenter and facilitator with attention to detail.Highly confident communicator with excellent interpersonal, influencing, and business writing skills.Proactive and self-disciplined, with strong planning and forward-thinking abilitiesHighly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking firm that is passionate about what they do and believes in working together to make a real impact.Due to the business needs our client is looking for someone available immediately or on short notice.
