Summary: The role of Test Engineer involves supporting the Test Architect in testing throughout the product development lifecycle for a medical device company. The position requires hands-on collaboration with Laboratory Technicians and System Engineers, as well as documentation and execution of test designs. The engineer will also develop testing rigs and provide input to ensure product testability. This is a 12-month contract with hybrid working arrangements available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering system test deliverables to projects, on time and to a high standard.
• Working within the Design and Development, Change Management and Project processes.
• Coordinate with external test facilities.
• Participate in testing activities, including the generation of test execution reports.
• Execute and report tests in line with project and test schedules.
• Maintain and train others on test methods and protocols.
• Maintain existing test tracing to requirements, design and risk items.

Key Skills:

• Experience as a Test Engineer in a medical device or regulated product environment.
• 360-degree test cycle experience, including development of rigs.
• Ability to draft and maintain documentation related to testing protocols.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS).
