Key Responsibilities:
- Provide home care support to clients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
- Implement behaviour management strategies as needed to promote positive interactions.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in behaviour or health status.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Skills:
- Experience in home care or nursing home settings is highly desirable.
- Candidate must have complex care experience.
- Knowledge of PEG, Stoma, ADHD, Mucus Dysphagia, and Impaired Vision.
- Strong understanding of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and their families.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Empathy and patience when dealing with individuals requiring support.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple client needs efficiently.
