Summary: The Systems Accountant will support the migration of the General Ledger to Workday within the Insurance Finance team at Saga on a 6-month contract. This role involves facilitating testing, resolving issues, and ensuring proper documentation during the implementation phase. The position requires collaboration with various teams and stakeholders to adapt processes and support reconciliation efforts. The ideal candidate should have prior experience with Workday implementations and a strong accounting background.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitating testing support from the project team to the AR Team.
• Liaising with the project team to resolve issues arising during the testing phase.
• Ensuring all items in the testing phase are successfully completed and properly documented.
• Communicating any issues or challenges arising and ensuring they are resolved.
• Collaborating in the adaptation of processes currently linked to the existing accounting system.
• Supporting the reconciliation process during the data validation phase of the project.

Key Skills:

• Experience in a Workday implementation project.
• Accounting background, including experience in journal entries, reconciliations, and maintenance of control accounts.
