Summary: The Software Test Engineer will work within a scrum team to test software solutions in the Satellite Communications Domain, contributing throughout the software development lifecycle. The role requires experience in test automation technologies such as Java, Selenium, and Cucumber, as well as the ability to conduct independent exploratory testing in a REST environment. The Engineer will also be responsible for generating documentation in line with project standards and ensuring code quality through verification and validation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verifying and validating code quality for new product development using agile methodology and supporting test documentation development.
• Designing, implementing, and testing features for new product development.
• Estimating tasks in accordance with sprint planning.
• Producing tests within an agile environment using GIT and Jira.
• Conducting manual and automated testing using Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Java, and Postman.
• Defining test cases and running test phases throughout the development process.
• Interpreting Model Based System Engineering Diagrams.
• Supporting Test Readiness Boards and Test Reviews as guided by the Test Lead.
• Completing test phases independently and within a team environment.
