Summary: The Senior Technical Architect role involves defining and documenting technical roadmaps and architecture blueprints for both new and existing systems. The position requires facilitating software module design, conducting technical overviews, and providing leadership on operational aspects while ensuring adherence to various requirements. Candidates must have extensive experience in software development, particularly with Azure and microservices, and must hold security clearance. This role is classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and document technical roadmaps and architecture blueprints for new and existing systems.
• Facilitate the design of software modules, ensuring adherence to functional, integration, performance, and user experience requirements.
• Conduct internal technical overviews, perform requirement analysis, and obtain design sign-offs.
• Provide technical leadership and insights for operational aspects.
• Estimate efforts for various tasks and evaluate new technologies/frameworks/libraries.
• Ensure familiarity with Azure and its various PAAS offerings.
• Design microservices using CQRS and event sourcing patterns, with knowledge of PostgreSQL database.
• Adhere to defined processes, produce and review technical documentation, and report on individual and project status.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and share knowledge.

Key Skills:

• 8-10 years of Software Development Experience (10-12 years for Senior Technical Architect).
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Cloud platforms (Azure), and microservice architecture.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• MUST HAVE SECURITY CLEARANCE.
