Summary: This role involves working with a team of engineers to implement and commission wind farm automation and communication systems, with a focus on SCADA projects. The candidate will serve as the primary site contact for technical support, ensuring that automation delivery meets specifications and is completed on time. Key responsibilities include interfacing between design and commissioning teams, participating in tests, and performing quality inspections. The ideal candidate should possess significant site-based experience in the energy/utilities sector and have a strong technical understanding of relevant systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish SCADA site presence and act as first person site contact for technical support.
• Act as interface between SCADA design team and the Commissioning team.
• Participate in FAT/SAT/SIT tests and sign off as tests complete.
• Perform quality inspections and report to SCADA design team.

Key Skills:

• Five years of site-based installation/commissioning experience within the energy/utilities sector.
• Knowledge of IT system hardware and network concepts.
• Knowledge of Radio Communication.
• Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Best practices regarding fiber optic and copper cables pulling and installations.
• Fluent communication in English for effective technical discussions.
• Able to read and understand technical documentation.
• Supervise in the physical deployment, providing feedback to local project teams.
