Summary: The Senior Project Management Office Lead for Infrastructure & Operational Technology is responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of critical transformation projects within the organization. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in managing large-scale projects, ensuring adherence to governance frameworks, and effective stakeholder communication. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the provision of an effective Project Management Office, including processes, standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of transformation projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for alignment and integration of project activities.
  • Manage quality assurance of status updates from key workstreams and chair project status meetings.
  • Create frameworks for strategic roadmap planning in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand needs and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support the development of a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Facilitate regular status meetings and provide updates to senior management.
  • Define the approach to leading people resourcing throughout the programme, including capacity planning.
  • Ensure effective risk management processes are in place and escalate critical issues when necessary.

Key Skills:

  • Proficient in project management processes and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
  • Deep understanding of technology implementations and change management processes.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.
  • Comprehensive experience in complex project management and large-scale transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
