Summary: This role involves supporting Agile delivery for a significant data transformation project within a secure environment for a central government customer. The contractor will lead Agile ceremonies, facilitate communication, and ensure continuous value delivery within an established team. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying and eliminating blockers while fostering a culture of improvement and collaboration. The successful candidate will also ensure visibility of team progress through metrics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate all core Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, sprint reviews and daily stand-ups
• Coach and guide team members on Agile principles, fostering a shared understanding of best practices
• Proactively identify and eliminate blockers to maintain team momentum and focus
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners to ensure effective backlog prioritisation and refinement
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration
• Ensure visibility of team progress through clear metrics, dashboards, and reporting
• Create and maintain a safe, open environment that encourages transparency, feedback, and innovation

Key Skills:

• Demonstrable experience as a Scrum Master or in an Agile delivery role within complex, secure environments
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Experience mentoring and developing Agile capability within teams
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-security environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and adaptable approach
• Desirable: Central government experience
