Summary: The SCADA Engineer Representative will collaborate with a team to implement and commission wind farm automation and communication systems, ensuring alignment with specifications and timely delivery. This role requires on-site experience and proactive engagement to support the commissioning process. The candidate will serve as the primary technical contact on-site and facilitate communication between the SCADA design and commissioning teams. Key responsibilities include conducting quality inspections and participating in various testing phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish SCADA site presence and act as the first-person site contact for technical support.
• Interface between the SCADA design team and the commissioning team.
• Participate in FAT/SAT/SIT tests and sign off as tests are completed.
• Perform quality inspections and report findings to the SCADA design team.

Key Skills:

• Five years of site-based installation/commissioning experience within the energy/utilities sector.
• Knowledge of IT system hardware and network concepts.
• Knowledge of radio communication.
• Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Best practices regarding fiber optic and copper cable pulling and installations.
• Fluent communication in English for effective technical discussions.
• Able to read and understand technical documentation.
• Supervise physical deployment and provide feedback to local project teams.
