Summary: The SCADA Engineer Representative will collaborate with a team to implement and commission wind farm automation and communication systems, ensuring alignment with specifications and timely delivery. This role requires on-site experience to support the commissioning of systems and act as a liaison between the SCADA design and commissioning teams. The ideal candidate will possess technical knowledge and proactive problem-solving skills to adapt to various challenges. Key responsibilities include establishing site presence, conducting tests, and performing quality inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish SCADA site presence and act as first person site contact for technical support
• Act as interface between SCADA design team and the Commissioning team
• Participate in FAT/SAT/SIT tests and sign off as tests complete
• Perform quality inspections and report to SCADA design team
• Supervise physical deployment and provide feedback to local project teams

Key Skills:

• Five years of site-based installation/commissioning experience within the energy/utilities sector
• Knowledge of IT system hardware and network concepts
• Knowledge of Radio Communication
• Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment, and troubleshooting methodologies
• Ability to communicate fluently in English
• Able to read and understand technical documentation
