Summary: The Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS) role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure for audio broadcast in AWS, focusing on scalability and automation. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain audio broadcast cloud infrastructure in AWS, focusing on scalability, reliability, and CI/CD automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud architecture, optimize workflows, and ensure governance alignment.
- Apply expert knowledge of AWS, containerized environments (e.g. Docker), and IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure performance and cost efficiency.
- Implement best practices in DevOps and DevSecOps, including observability, security, networking, API integration, and disaster recovery.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute technical leadership, ideally with experience in broadcast workflows, audio/video streaming, and Agile methodologies.
Key Skills:
- Extensive proven experience of AWS Cloud and knowledge of other cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP.
- Proven experience in containerized environments (Docker) and associated tooling such as GitLab.
- Proven experience in coding with a programming/scripting language (e.g. Java, Golang, Python, Bash).
- Background in Broadcasting/Media/Radio or Video is essential.
