Summary: The Security Auditor role at BAE Systems involves engaging in security assurance throughout the business supplier lifecycle, conducting risk analysis, and ensuring compliance with information security policies. The position requires liaising with customers and partners, facilitating working groups, and consulting on major IT projects. This is a fully remote position with a contract duration of 12 months, with the possibility of extension. The role demands strong communication skills and experience in auditing and cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engaged in the business supplier lifecycle, undertaking business risk analysis, audit and assurance activities within BAE Systems and the Supply Chain and compliance enforcement.
• Liaising with customers and partners across the business and traveling to various supplier sites within the UK, occasional Non UK.
• Facilitating Specialist Working Groups drawing subject matter expertise from the business and customer to develop and improve information security policies and practices to deploy within BAE and the supply chain.
• Consulting with major programmes and IT projects to ensure they comply with information security policies.

Key Skills:

• Valid UK Driving License.
• Communication skills, with the ability to adapt these skills to different circumstances and across levels of the enterprise.
• Experience/knowledge of auditing and assessments and report writing skills.
• Cyber security experience (desirable).
• ISO27001 Lead Auditor (desirable).
