Summary: The role of Regulatory Reporting Consultant involves supporting a leading challenger bank's Romanian branch for an initial three-month period, with potential for extension. The position is fully remote and requires immediate availability, as well as fluency in Romanian and the right to work in Europe. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements to the Romanian Central Bank. Key deliverables include scoping regulatory requirements, documenting reporting processes, and reviewing generated reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scope regulatory requirements (COREP) and assure completeness of reports to be sent to the Romanian Central Bank.
• Identify frequency, reporting dates, file formats, and other necessary information for reports to be sent to the Romanian Central Bank; document scoping in Confluence pages.
• Identify reporting requirements needed for Romanian reports production by the production team or third-party vendor and open tickets for resolution.
• Review reports generated by the third-party vendor/production team and support any scoping questions.
• Attend meetings with the Romanian Central Bank, if needed.

Key Skills:

• Fluency in Romanian.
• Experience in regulatory reporting, specifically COREP.
• Strong documentation skills, particularly in Confluence.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with the Romanian Central Bank and internal teams.
