Summary: The role of Project Support/PMO involves assisting a district council in Surrey with a significant transformation programme. The successful candidate will engage with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective tracking and reporting of deliverables. Responsibilities include owning specific workstream objectives and facilitating meetings. This is an interim position for an initial duration of six months, requiring a flexible skill set and on-site presence at least once a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with internal programme team to track deliverables and report progress to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including parish councils, to support programme outcomes.
  • Own delivery of specific workstream objectives in coordination with Project Managers.
  • Facilitate and chair meetings as necessary.

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience in a project support or PMO role within local government.
  • Experience in supporting the delivery of transformation (non-IT) programmes.
  • Effective communication skills with a range of stakeholders.
  • Flexible skill set to adapt to programme needs.
  • Willingness to be on-site at least once per week.

Salary (Rate): 400
