Summary: The role of Process Engineering Consultant in Financial Services involves guiding and steering project teams within the Wholesale Transformation division of a leading Global Bank. The consultant will collaborate with stakeholders to implement strategic changes, enhance operational efficiency, and drive customer-centric initiatives. This position requires a strong background in process reengineering and project management methodologies, particularly in the context of the Business Banking Industry. The consultant will also serve as a trusted advisor, leveraging data analysis and leadership skills to facilitate successful change management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently guide and steer the programme/project team and key stakeholders throughout the change lifecycle towards successful implementation and transition to business-as-usual (BAU).
  • Collaborate with the business on the need and nature of change to leverage opportunities and manage industry challenges.
  • Drive the business to make well-reasoned decisions in matters of strategic, organizational, operational, and technological investment.
  • Work with the business and external vendors to create, shape, deliver, and embed sustainable change successfully.
  • Shape and execute against the business strategic change agenda.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by identifying opportunities and ensuring the Voice of the Customer is embedded in projects.
  • Scrutinize big data, derive key takeaways, and prioritize effectively.
  • Lead teams in a customer-centric change environment.
  • Deliver medium complexity process reengineering projects.
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes within timelines.

Key Skills:

  • 3-7+ years of experience in process reengineering and best practice techniques.
  • Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile Project Management methodologies.
  • Ability to drive change and own major deliverables impacting customers.
  • Skilled in data analysis and deriving key insights.
  • Proficient understanding of the Business Banking Industry globally and in the UK market.
  • Hands-on experience in driving Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
  • Proven track record of delivering medium complexity process reengineering projects.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, multicultural environment.
