Summary: The Power Platform Developer will design, develop, and implement custom solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and Power BI to enhance educational processes and data analysis within the Harris Federation. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure solutions meet their needs while driving innovation through AI tools. The position is integral to improving workflows and supporting the Federation's commitment to providing quality education. The developer will also engage in ongoing support and maintenance of the solutions created.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions using Power Apps Studio, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and Power BI.
- Working closely with teachers, school leaders, head office staff, consultants, and other stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Integrating Power Platform solutions with other systems used by the Harris Federation.
- Providing ongoing support and maintenance for developed solutions, troubleshooting issues, and implementing updates.
- Creating technical documentation and providing training to end-users.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest Power Platform features and best practices.
Key Skills:
- Operational experience of developing AI tools and processes in a large education environment.
- Familiarity with educational data and understanding of data quality implications.
- Confidence in managing educational data across a complex organization.
- Experience in reporting and analysis of educational workforce data.
- Knowledge of relevant employment legislation, Data Protection Act, GDPR, and equality principles.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, and Power Apps.
- Ability to manage software development projects and identify effective project management paradigms.
