Summary: The role of PMO Analyst involves supporting a large technology transformation programme for a London-based client on a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will work in a structured, fast-paced environment, assisting the PMO Lead in maintaining programme excellence. The position requires onsite work in the client's central London office three days a week. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PMO roles, particularly in technology transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the PMO Lead in ensuring structure and rigour around the transformation programme.
  • Track and monitor programme and project performance, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain critical programme documentation including project plans, risk logs, status reports, and schedules.
  • Track milestones, deliverables, and interdependencies to ensure timely delivery.
  • Assist in coordinating programme governance meetings, including creating agendas, recording minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Manage project/programme budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking processes.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
  • Monitor compliance with governance frameworks and escalate issues as needed.
  • Provide ad hoc support to PMO leaders as required.
  • Analyse project data to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams, including systems integrators, vendors, and SMEs.
  • Work with global teams across different time zones.

Key Skills:

  • Demonstrable experience as a PMO on Technology Transformation Programmes - ERP/CRM (D365).
  • Strong programme reporting experience and ability to analyse project data.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM).
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills - especially Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Power BI.
  • Strong knowledge of project delivery frameworks (Waterfall, Agile).
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, Azure DevOps (ADO).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience liaising with senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of juggling multiple priorities.
