Summary: The Merchandise Planning Manager for a world-class luxury fashion brand will oversee EMEIA Outlet planning activities, focusing on strategic inventory management and commercial performance. This role requires strong leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive sales and manage inventory effectively. The position is office-based in Central London, with a temporary assignment duration of three months. Candidates must have relevant managerial experience in merchandising within the luxury retail sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic inventory management for the Outlet channel through the Rolling Open to Buy process.
- Drive commercial insights for pre-season and in-season decisions, focusing on promotions and inventory productivity.
- Manage the quarterly buy process for the Outlet channel in alignment with key strategies.
- Collaborate with Retail, Merchandising, Allocation, Regional Finance, and Central Planning teams on inventory management.
- Develop seasonal liquidation strategies, including markdowns and promotions.
- Lead the Outlet Allocation team for regular store replenishment.
- Conduct monthly inventory forecast reviews and provide insights on risks and opportunities.
- Support the Director of Planning in inventory management and sales driving initiatives.
