Summary: The Manufacturing Excellence Project Manager will be responsible for diagnosing operations and implementing innovative practices to enhance production performance within a global organization. This temporary role focuses on continuous improvement and requires strong collaboration with local teams to embed new methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a scientific background and a proven track record in manufacturing transformation projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Manufacturing Excellence assessments to identify opportunities for throughput increases and develop actionable implementation plans.
- Collaborate with local teams to enhance organisational capability and embed new ways of working.
- Design innovative tools and train employees on standardised practises within the Production System.
- Coach leaders and support multifunctional teams in adopting new methodologies, including Industry 4.0 skills.
- Perform targeted audits on the Production System and recommend continuous improvement strategies.
Key Skills:
- A relevant scientific background (Chemical Engineering, Production Performance, Maintenance) with proven manufacturing experience.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing challenges and a track record in transformation projects.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in data analysis and visualisation tools to present complex information clearly.
- A proactive approach to change management and a willingness to travel globally as needed.
- A degree in industrial, engineering, or chemical sciences (or equivalent experience).
- Proven project and programme management methodologies.
- Resilience and the ability to navigate complex organisational structures.
- Flexibility to travel to different sites as required.
- A passion for coaching and developing others to embrace change.
