Summary: The Manufacturing Excellence Project Manager will support a global leader in crop protection by diagnosing operations and implementing new production management tools and processes to enhance performance. This role involves conducting assessments, developing organizational capabilities, and collaborating with experts to ensure effective deployment of new practices. The position requires strong change management skills and the ability to influence across various levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a scientific background and extensive experience in manufacturing transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Manufacturing Excellence assessment to identify throughput increase opportunities and define implementation plans.
• Support local Manufacturing Excellence in developing organizational capability through tool design, employee training, and coaching of leaders.
• Collaborate with functional experts to codify new capabilities (tools/processes/behaviours).
• Conduct targeted audits on the Production system and issue recommendations for continuous improvement.

Key Skills:

• Relevant scientific background in chemical process engineering or related fields.
• Experience in manufacturing transformation projects and capability assessments.
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in complex structures and prioritize multiple activities.
• Fluency in English and expertise in chemical processes, production performance, and maintenance.
• Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools, including SAP.
• Strong project and program management skills.
• Change and operational management experience.
