Summary: A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Lead Developer proficient in PHP and Vue.js to enhance their software solutions. The role emphasizes strong integration skills and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications. The position is primarily remote with occasional office attendance required. The contract is rolling for three months and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain PHP applications and Vue.js front-end interfaces
• Optimise and refactor code to improve performance, security, and maintainability
• Ensure high code quality through testing, reviews, and best practices
• Design and implement system integrations for smooth interaction between applications
• Maintain and enhance existing PHP-based systems to meet industry standards
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and business stakeholders
• Provide technical mentorship and foster knowledge-sharing within the team

Key Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in PHP development (minimum 4 years in large-scale projects)
• Strong experience with PHP 8.3+, Vue.js, JavaScript, and SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Previous experience in healthcare software development (preferred but not essential)
