Summary: The Group Human Resources Business Partner will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of HR in delivering people plans across the Group and its subsidiaries. This position requires a proactive and commercially focused HR generalist who will provide guidance on employee relations, compliance with UK legislation, and the development of a positive workplace culture. The role also involves championing performance and talent development initiatives while ensuring effective recruitment and onboarding processes. This is a fixed-term position until April 2026 based in Leeds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a business partner with senior managers to support people-centered initiatives across the Group.
  • Provide advice on employee relations and ensure compliance with UK employment legislation.
  • Conduct HR training sessions and coaching for managers regarding HR responsibilities.
  • Develop and promote initiatives for Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.
  • Champion a high-performance culture and collaborate with Learning & Development for effective appraisal processes.
  • Lead strategic projects to implement the People Strategy and enhance employer branding.
  • Manage workflow and support the development of HR Advisor and HR Assistant colleagues.
  • Ensure effective recruitment and onboarding processes for new employees.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in an HR generalist role at a similar level.
  • Experience in handling employee relations matters and coaching managers.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • CIPD qualified or significant HR experience with a willingness to pursue CIPD qualifications.
  • Logical and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
