Summary: The Enterprise Agile Coach will join the Lean-Agile Centre of Excellence to facilitate the transition to scaled agile practices within the organization. This role involves coaching and mentoring teams, implementing improvements to streamline processes, and driving continuous improvement across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and extensive experience in agile methodologies, particularly in software delivery environments. The position is a 6-month fixed-term contract with a hybrid working pattern.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate learning and development through one-on-one and team coaching and training.
- Coach Journey Leadership in SAFe practices to ensure adoption of best practices from top-down.
- Effectively communicate SAFe principles and practices and overall operating model across the organization.
- Champion the use of metrics and other objective measures to help drive continuous improvement across teams.
- Keep a fact-based perspective on issues and apply agile principles to help understand the root cause.
Key Skills:
- Strong leader, educator, and coach.
- Excellent communicator and motivator.
- Emotional intelligence with an understanding of the impact of choices on people and workflows.
- Technical fluency to effectively work with processes and workflows.
- Agile certifications e.g. SAFe SPC, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), ICAgile Certified Professional, etc.
- 5+ years of experience as an Agile Coach in a software delivery environment.
- Experience in Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe).
- Ability to showcase examples of implementing agile techniques in different cultures and environments.
- Ability to connect with all levels of an organization.
- IT-related undergraduate degree preferred.
