Summary: The Data Analyst role is a contract position based in Coventry, requiring a hands-on individual to support data integrity and reporting during business expansion. The successful candidate will work across multiple systems to investigate data issues and ensure the accuracy of reporting data. This position involves collaboration with various internal teams and the integration of new data sources. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily and weekly data checks across ERP, CRM, and finance/reporting tools
• Investigate and resolve data issues, mismatches, and inconsistencies between systems
• Liaise with internal teams (Finance, Operations, IT) to understand root causes and fix problems
• Ensure reporting data is accurate, consistent, and ready for use by the FP&A team
• Support the integration of new data sources following acquisitions
• Maintain documentation around checks, fixes, and processes
• Recommend improvements to data processes and reporting efficiency

Key Skills:

• Strong SQL skills – able to query and troubleshoot across multiple datasets
• Confident working with ERP and CRM systems (e.g. Unit4, Salesforce, or similar)
• Comfortable supporting reporting and dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, Excel, etc.)
• Proven background in data quality, reporting, or BI environments
• Proactive, solutions-focused, and able to work independently
• Clear communicator who can collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
