Summary: The Lead Cloud Architect role involves overseeing an Azure Landing Zone Development project and facilitating a migration to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The position requires strong leadership in managing technical teams and expertise in cloud and infrastructure architecture. The contract is for three months and includes a hybrid working arrangement with onsite presence required bi-weekly in Cardiff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical teams in cloud and infrastructure architecture projects.
- Assist in the development of Azure Landing Zones and migration to GCP.
- Design and deploy multicloud platforms.
- Implement CI/CD methodologies using DevOps.
- Develop and enforce IT security policies for cloud services.
- Plan and execute migration strategies.
Key Skills:
- Experience in a lead position managing technical teams.
- Specialist knowledge of cloud and infrastructure architecture.
- Relevant certifications such as GCP or Azure certifications or TOGAF Certification.
- Experience with Azure cloud platforms and ideally GCP.
- Proficiency in CI/CD methodologies using DevOps.
- Experience with IT security policies for cloud services.
- Migration planning experience.
