Summary: The Lead Cloud Architect role involves overseeing an Azure Landing Zone Development project and facilitating a migration to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The position requires strong leadership in managing technical teams and expertise in cloud and infrastructure architecture. The contract is for three months and includes a hybrid working arrangement with onsite presence required bi-weekly in Cardiff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical teams in cloud and infrastructure architecture projects.
• Assist in the development of Azure Landing Zones and migration to GCP.
• Design and deploy multicloud platforms.
• Implement CI/CD methodologies using DevOps.
• Develop and enforce IT security policies for cloud services.
• Plan and execute migration strategies.

Key Skills:

• Experience in a lead position managing technical teams.
• Specialist knowledge of cloud and infrastructure architecture.
• Relevant certifications such as GCP or Azure certifications or TOGAF Certification.
• Experience with Azure cloud platforms and ideally GCP.
• Proficiency in CI/CD methodologies using DevOps.
• Experience with IT security policies for cloud services.
• Migration planning experience.
