Summary: The Assistant Brand & Marketing Manager role is a 3-month contract position based in Halifax, focusing on driving customer communications and marketing campaigns within a leading financial institution. The position requires a creative marketer to develop innovative solutions and manage multiple projects while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves collaboration with internal teams and external partners to enhance communication processes and deliver impactful marketing materials. This hybrid role requires in-office presence two days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and delivering materials and processes for customer communications, improving copy, and innovating comms solutions.
  • Ensuring communications meet customer and regulatory needs are well-written and adhere to Customer Communications Handbook.
  • Managing assigned projects, setting timeline & budgets, agreeing objectives with stakeholders and our partner agencies, and managing prioritisation as appropriate.
  • Effectively managing budget and expenditure across multiple projects, tracking, and reporting as required.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to identify and deliver improvements to current communications processes and building more sustainable solutions for our customers.
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships both internally and externally, with partners to understand requirements and with suppliers and agencies to deliver effective comms solutions.
  • Ensuring delivery of materials to agreed deadlines, cost, quality, legal, risk and compliance standards for the business areas.

Key Skills:

  • A marketing background which includes campaign management in Financial Services.
  • Hands-on experience developing & writing customer communications & content in multiple formats including printed literature and online material.
  • Practical experience of applying relevant consumer legislation to communications.
  • Track record of leading design, writing copy, and delivering campaigns and or comms support materials.
  • Experience in managing multiple project workstreams concurrently.
  • Regulatory Awareness.
  • Experience using Acrolinx and Workfront is highly beneficial.
