Summary: This role is for an SC Cleared Security Consultant with a leading tech organization, requiring active SC clearance and expertise in Palo Alto technologies. The position starts full-time on-site in Southampton, transitioning to a hybrid model after the first month. The consultant will serve as the subject matter expert on security and firewall projects, focusing on optimization and documentation. The role is classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the subject matter expert on security and firewall-related projects.
• Optimize and implement security projects.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and create documentation, runbooks, and playbooks.
• Provide training to colleagues as required.
• Manage Panorama Firewall and other Palo Alto tools and technologies.
• Maintain excellent client-facing and communication skills.

Key Skills:

• Active SC clearance.
• PCNSE Certification (essential).
• Strong commercial experience with Palo Alto-related projects.
• Experience with Panorama Firewall Management.
• Knowledge of NGFW and optimization.
• Ability to create documentation, runbooks, and playbooks.
• Act as a technical authority on Palo Alto technologies.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• Desirable: PCNSC Certification.
• Desirable: Experience with VM & CN Firewalls, Strata Cloud Manager.
