A leading technology company in the Broadcast & Media sector is seeking an experienced Test Engineer for a 12-month contract role, fully remote with occasional trips to Winchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and creative individual to ensure robust testing across various products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the creation of test plans and scripts, and execute testing processes.


• Assist with defect triage and management, ensuring smooth handling of issues.


• Produce detailed test reports to maintain high levels of product quality.


• Install, test, and troubleshoot new equipment and solutions, ensuring optimal performance and availability.


• Provide technical knowledge for the development and deployment of service infrastructure.


• Document engineering build procedures and drive the continuous improvement of policies and processes.

Requirements:

• Engineering degree with experience in Broadcast & Media systems.


• Working knowledge of bespoke and COTS software/hardware development and testing.


• Strong knowledge of Test Governance and Agile methodologies.


• Familiarity with networking principles and technologies related to data collection and management.

This contract role offers 500 per day (inside IR35), and due to the urgency of the hire, the position has been transitioned from permanent to contract.
