DescriptionWe are currently looking for a skilled and dedicated People & Payroll Co-ordinator to join our People & Culture team, for a 6 month fixed term contract. The role reports directly to the Head of People & Culture and will be an integral part of the team providing effective and accurate coordination of People & Culture activities throughout the employee life cycle from onboarding to exit. This role is also responsible for delivering the company s payroll processing requirements within the required timeframe whilst maintaining accurate administration of the company s people systems. Where appropriate the successful candidate will provide advice and guide managers and employees on policy and process, taking into account current legislation and best practice.Key ResponsibilitiesWorking alongside our experienced team of industry experts, you will be responsible for:Building effective working relationships with staff at all levels, providing support, advice, and guidance on a range of people practices, people policies, employment law, pay and benefit matters to support understanding and where appropriate ensure effective people management. Where appropriate consult with other members of People and Culture for accurate guidance.Ensuring the People System (IRIS Cascade)is up to date and accurate in real time to match the Cifas workforce, including providing reporting requirements.Accountable for ensuring the accurate completion of the monthly and yearly payroll activities in line with the company s pay processing guide and timetables, for all pay, deductions, pension, and benefits elements, including internal approval processes are completed.Managing the employee benefits coordination and administration, including liaising with third party suppliers and employees as required.Facilitating the onboarding process for all new starters including vetting process, new joiner instructions, induction program, and welcome communications.Managing the employee lifecycle administration including maintaining and responding to the central team inbox, updating caseload, managing the electronic filing system, general administration tasks, and off boarding process.Supporting the People & Culture team with all general administration including being available to act as a notetaker in formal and informal ER meetings.Assisting and supporting the delivery of the People Plan.Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseTo Be Successful In This Role, You Will HavePrevious experience in a HR generalist roleExperience in processing payroll activities for a salaried company s payroll with expertise in administering employee benefits via salary sacrifice.
