We are looking for an experienced Power BI Architect to lead the design and implementation of Power BI solutions within a dynamic Azure environment. The role requires expertise in architectural design, Azure data services, and advanced deployment strategies using CI/CD and DevOps. A strong understanding of NHS and identity management data is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and design scalable Power BI solutions aligned with business objectives and technical standards.
• Establish and maintain best practices for Power BI development, deployment, and maintenance.
• Design and optimize Azure Data Pipelines and Azure Data Stores for efficient integration with Power BI.
• Implement robust CI/CD pipelines for deploying Power BI solutions in a DevOps environment.
• Lead technical discussions and provide guidance on Power BI and Azure-based data solutions.
• Ensure data security, governance, and compliance with NHS data standards and identity management protocols.
• Collaborate with development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Mentor and support developers in adopting best practices and technical standards.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Extensive experience as a Power BI Architect or in a similar role, with a focus on Azure environments.
• Strong expertise in Azure Data Services, including Data Pipelines, Data Factory, and Data Lake.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools, Azure DevOps, and Power BI deployment strategies.
• In-depth understanding of NHS data and identity management systems, including compliance and governance.
• Advanced skills in DAX, Power Query, and performance optimization for large datasets.
• Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
