Summary: The Manufacturing Program Manager role involves supporting a multinational company's manufacturing organization by diagnosing operations, implementing new working methods, and enhancing production performance. The position is a 6-month hybrid contract based in Manchester, requiring expertise in chemical engineering and operational management. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence within the manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Manufacturing Excellence assessment to identify opportunities for throughput increase and define implementation plans.
- Support local Manufacturing Excellence in developing organizational capability.
- Collaborate with functional experts to codify new capabilities in the Production System.
- Conduct targeted audits on the Production system.
- Issue recommendations for continuous improvement.
Key Skills:
- Functional expertise in chemical processes, production performance, and maintenance.
- Proficient in process data analysis using data analytic and visualization tools.
- Strong information management skills with the ability to manipulate and present complex data.
- Excellent stakeholder influencing and management skills.
- Proven experience in project and program management methodologies.
- Experience in change and operational management.
- Ability to develop, coach, and teach others in delivering change.
- Experience in change management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Support multifunctional teams in embedding new working methods.
- Lean/Operational Excellence skills.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance and production management systems.
- Willingness to travel to sites across Europe.
