Required Skills and Experience:
2+ years experience in web/front-end development.
Familiarity with OpenText CMS or other enterprise content management systems.
Experience with building and configuring Dynamic Component References (DCRs).
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and XML.
Knowledge of web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and best practices.
Knowledge of best practices for web performance, and SEO
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with browser debugging tools.
Knowledge of responsive design principles.
Nice to Have:
Visual / UX design skills; principles of design for web.
Experience working with web content management systems.
Familiarity with the Google Marketing Platform and web analytics/KPIs
An understanding of technology and/or the financial services industry.
Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Working knowledge of .Net and or Node.js, other front-end development frameworks Knockout, React, Angular an asset.
Knowledge of Marketing automation tools an asset
Knowledge of GIT & build processes.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
1-2 years of experience working in a web development or content management role.
