Finatal is supporting a large multinational corporation undergoing a significant divestiture process. This high-stakes carve-out project requires an experienced Finance Director who can lead financial operations, ensure seamless separation from the parent organization, and establish a robust financial framework for the standalone entity.
Role Overview
The Finance Director will play a key role in navigating the complexities of the carve-out, ensuring the financial separation is executed efficiently while maintaining operational integrity. Reporting to the CFO of the parent company, the role will involve creating a standalone financial structure, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring regulatory compliance throughout the disposal process.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy to support the carve-out process.
- Ensure the separation aligns with regulatory, operational, and financial objectives.
- Oversee the transfer of financial operations, systems, and processes to the standalone entity.
- Manage transitional service agreements (TSAs) and ensure smooth handover of functions.
- Establish a scalable financial framework for the standalone business, including systems, reporting structures, and controls.
- Implement robust financial processes to support the standalone entity s success.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for the carve-out.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven track record as a Finance Director with expertise in carve-outs and disposals, ideally within a large multinational corporation.
- Strong background in setting up financial systems and processes for standalone entities.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with transitional service agreements, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting standards.
- Experience in navigating large-scale organizational change.
