Advanced Excel proficiency is expected as a baseline, particularly for financial modelling, scenario analysis, and variance commentary. Experience with FP&A and planning software such as Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Planful, or Hyperion is increasingly expected as organisations move away from purely spreadsheet-based planning. Proficiency with BI tools, particularly Power BI, for management reporting is widely valued.
