Summary: The role is for a C# Fullstack Developer specializing in Typescript, JavaScript, and modern React, focused on the FX Options business within investment banking. The position involves working on various projects related to pricing, booking, and risk management, requiring both independent and collaborative work. This is a long-term, rolling contract requiring four days a week in the office and is paid through an umbrella company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in projects based on team priorities within the FX options team.
- Utilize expertise in Typescript, JavaScript, modern React, and C# for development tasks.
- Perform code reviews and engage in SCRUM meetings, including stand-ups and retrospectives.
- Contribute to the development of microservices and clean code practices.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment while also being able to work independently.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in C#, Typescript, JavaScript, and modern React.
- Experience with .NET 8.0, Windows Services, ASP .NET Web API, Kafka, gRPC, and protobuf.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as GIT (Bitbucket) and TeamCity.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and service-oriented architectures.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Ability to read C++ and knowledge of Java is a bonus.
