QC Coordinator

Summary: The QC Coordinator will oversee inspection activities for a major Offshore Wind Farm Developer in the Netherlands, ensuring alignment on Inspection and Test Plans with the EPCI Contractor. The role involves monitoring quality-related issues, managing Non Conformity (NC) processes, and supporting the implementation of Employer's Requirements across various vendor packages. Frequent travel to construction locations is required, alongside extensive experience in offshore projects and quality control inspection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all inspection activities from the client side for vendor packages.
• Align on Inspection and Test Plans with the EPCI Contractor during the vendor manufacturing phase.
• Set up and participate in risk-based inspections and audits in the supply chain.
• Support discipline teams with specific quality-related issues or documents.
• Review quality deliverables from vendors against Employer's Requirements.
• Monitor all quality-related problems for each package.
• Manage contractor/vendor's Non Conformity (NC) processes, focusing on major/critical NC corrections.
• Implement Employer's Requirements regarding welding, coating, piping, and material selection.
• Travel frequently to construction locations of the supply chain.

Key Skills:

• Extensive experience with offshore projects in Oil & Gas, Renewables, or Shipping industry.
• 10+ years' experience in QC inspection roles and drafting QC plans and ITPs.
• Knowledge of International Codes and Standards (IEC, ISO, API, ASME, ASTM, AWS, DNV, EN).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage.
• Certified Welding Inspector (CSWIP 3.2) or equivalent is a plus.
• Certified Coating Inspector (NACE CIP Level 2) or equivalent is a plus.
• NDT Qualifications are a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with HVDC equipment is a plus.
• Qualifications in low voltage (NEN3140) and high voltage (NEN3840) are a plus.
• Valid driver license in NL/Europe.
