Summary: The IT Project Manager role involves leading the end-to-end delivery of IT work-packages within broader business programmes in a hybrid working environment. The position requires effective management of scope, risks, and stakeholder communication to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. The candidate will coordinate with cross-functional teams and third-party resources while maintaining quality and compliance. A strong background in IT project management and relevant certifications are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver IT work-packages from initiation to closure
- Manage scope, risk, issues, and change effectively
- Lead project teams and coordinate third-party resources
- Ensure quality, compliance, and proper documentation (SharePoint/Teams)
- Maintain strong communication with business unit stakeholders
- Drive delivery efficiency through daily team coordination and status reporting
Key Skills:
- Strong background in IT Project Management or related roles (Developer, BA)
- Proven track record delivering complex IT projects
- Strong understanding of systems integration, SDLC, QA, and testing
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proficient in PM tools and methodologies (Prince2, APM, etc.)
- Skilled in budgeting, risk management, and delivery tracking
- Ability to lead diverse technical teams and manage third-party vendors
- Prince2 Practitioner or APM certified
- Must be eligible for BPSS security clearance (SC may be required)
