Summary: The Workday Finance SME role involves leading the development and support of ERP systems, particularly focusing on Workday Financials and its integrations. The position requires technical leadership throughout the system development life cycle, including design, testing, and deployment. The candidate will also be responsible for managing client relationships and providing post-production support. This role is classified as inside IR35, necessitating the use of an FCSA Accredited Umbrella Company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for the development of ERP systems, including Workday and its integrations.
• Lead and participate in the system development life cycle, including technical design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Provide technical leadership and direction for application development activities.
• Strong understanding of Workday competencies and expertise in Workday Financials functional areas.
• Experience implementing/supporting Workday modules related to Accounting, Banking & Settlements, Budgets, Expenses, Projects, and Cash Management.
• Build and develop strong client relationships.
• Provide post-production support and enhancement services in Workday Financials.
• Participate in advisory, planning, and implementation of additional Workday Financial modules.
• Manage client relationships and resolve client support requests.
• Lead sessions with clients to analyze and scope complex business requirements.
• Collaborate with the Delivery team on day-to-day activities and incidents.
• Provide Workday best practices and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Communicate effectively with clients and prioritize their interests.
• Mentor other consultants and contribute to practice growth.
