Summary: The Website & Social Media Manager will oversee the management and updating of the company's websites and social media channels during a maternity cover period of approximately 9-12 months. This role requires a proactive individual with strong HubSpot CMS and WordPress skills to create engaging digital content that aligns with the organization's strategic goals. The manager will support marketing campaigns, enhance user experience, and ensure the online presence reflects the company's values and expertise. The position offers hybrid working arrangements with two days in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage updates to Methods.co.uk via HubSpot CMS, including page creation, content uploads, navigation adjustments, and optimisation.
- Use advanced HubSpot skills to build landing pages, microsites, and campaign-specific digital assets.
- Maintain and update the Alten.co.uk site using WordPress, ensuring content accuracy and brand consistency.
- Implement best-practice SEO across all web content.
- Ensure website accessibility, usability, and performance meet industry standards.
- Proactively create content that aligns with strategic content pillars and supports marketing campaigns.
- Develop engaging page content, blog posts, news updates, and multimedia assets.
- Draft social media posts and publish content across company channels (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
- Monitor relevant external issues (e.g., industry updates, public sector developments, digital trends) and create timely content in response.
- Manage and schedule posts across social media platforms, ensuring consistent tone of voice and alignment with brand standards.
- Support the rollout of campaign content, thought leadership, event promotion, and corporate announcements.
- Track engagement and performance, reporting insights back to the marketing team.
- Work closely with the wider Marketing & Communications team, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to source and refine content.
- Ensure all digital content adheres to brand guidelines, compliance requirements, and accessibility standards.
- Maintain content calendars for web and social channels.
Key Skills:
- Expert-level HubSpot CMS skills — ability to build pages, templates, landing pages, forms, and microsites.
- Strong WordPress experience, including content updates and basic page layout adjustments.
- Proven experience managing corporate websites and social media channels.
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills, with an eye for tone, clarity, and brand consistency.
- Ability to interpret strategic content pillars and translate them into engaging digital assets.
- Working knowledge of SEO, UX best practices, and web accessibility.
