Summary: This role is for a WordPress Developer at an award-winning company in Hertfordshire, focusing on delivering high-quality services to a diverse client base. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing for a combination of office and homeworking, with team members attending the office 1-3 days a week. The developer will work closely with the Director and a small technical team on exciting projects, with opportunities for skill development and technology exploration. Candidates should be motivated and enthusiastic about coding and career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites using ACF, HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with the Director and team members to ensure project completion to high standards.
- Engage with clients and adopt a consultative approach on new and existing projects.
- Explore new technologies and contribute to the technology roadmap.
- Participate in a diverse range of tasks and learn new skills and processes.
Key Skills:
- Proven commercial experience with WordPress and ACF.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Git Version Control.
- Familiarity with Adobe Software including Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD.
- Desired skills in Ecommerce platforms like Magento or Woocommerce, Google Analytics, and Cloudflare or Hubspot.
