Summary: Petrofac is seeking a Walk to Work Project Manager for a 12-month PAYE contract in Aberdeen, focusing on managing the W2W 26 Activity Block Plan and ensuring compliance with project milestones. The role involves driving accountability among stakeholders, managing risks, and supporting the development of safety and communication plans. Key Responsibilities:
- Driving the creation and management of the W2W 26 Activity Block Plan and Histogram.
- Managing and reporting against the W2W 26 Milestone Plan on a weekly basis.
- Chairing the Weekly W2W 26 Progress Meetings and ensuring accountability among SPAs.
- Ensuring stage gate compliance for all planned activities in the W2W 26 Milestone Plan.
- Providing information for the steering group/key stakeholders for decision-making.
- Supporting the preparation of scope readiness reviews.
- Managing the risk register and coordinating risk review sessions.
- Clear communication of objectives and deliverables required of all SPAs/stakeholders.
- Monitoring and driving job readiness with relevant SPAs.
- Supporting SHE Team to develop the SHE Plan in line with company standards.
- Overseeing and tracking progress of relevant W2W 26 documentation.
- Providing regular updates and reports via established business cost management processes.
- Working closely with the Programme Manager and Cost Engineer to control W2W 26 costs.
- Coordinating and supporting the planning and management of resource allocation for W2W 26 workflows.
- Managing scope worklist and ensuring scope readiness across all W2W 26 activities.
- Coordinating sessions with SPAs for scope definition and progress reporting.
- Coordinating and managing Risk/SIMOPS workshops.
- Providing support to logistics for vessel compliance and campaign preparations.
- Promoting a ‘Safety First’ culture with the team and adhering to safety principles.
Key Skills:
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent discipline.
- Chartered Engineer or actively working towards chartered status.
- BOSEIT, Medical, and MIST certifications for offshore travel.
- Working knowledge of NEOS FPS Maintenance Standards and HSSE.
- Understanding of engineering principles and practices related to oil and gas operations.
- Experience in project management processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with UK regulatory and industry standards.
- W2W planning experience.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Strong decision-making skills and results-driven mindset.
- Ability to manage emergent requirements effectively.
- Proven track record of planning and leading multi-discipline offshore W2W campaigns.
- Familiarity with Management of Change processes.
- Experience in asset operations and maintenance systems.
