Summary: The role of VM Ware Specialist involves working on an ongoing project that includes an initial discovery phase followed by a migration process. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial discovery phase for 3/4 weeks during normal working hours.
• Manage migration processes for 3/4 months during out-of-hours shifts (6pm onwards).
• Install, configure, and manage VMware vCenter and ESXi.
• Upgrade vCenter and ESXi versions from older to latest supported versions.
• Understand network configurations and security protocols in air-gapped environments.
• Utilize NSX-V and NSX-T for network virtualization and security.
• Ensure data integrity through proficient backup and recovery processes.
• Create and verify backups prior to performing upgrades.
